I hosted my first photography training course way back in 2012, since then I've held sell out wedding, landscape and business photography workshops around the UK and Europe including London, Paris, Venice and Italian Castles
My training courses are practical hands on photography and business days, teaching real world techniques which I use day in, day out in my own wedding photography business.
Wedding, landscape and Wildlife photography workshops and training courses are an ideal way of building your business, learning new techniques and styles as well as trying new creative ideas to add the wow factor to your photography. Photography workshops and portfolio days are about taking photographs and during the day you’ll have plenty of time doing just that, hands on practical learning with expert tuition will ensure the new techniques you learn on a training day will be quickly remembered, allowing you to create your own stunning photographs, whether its Landscape Photography, Wedding Photography or Widlife Photography

KINGFISHER WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY DAYs. ASSORTED DATEs
Join me for a day of Kingfisher photography close to the A1 near Stamford in Lincolnshire. Photographing the natural and wild Kingfishers is on the to do list of many photographers and whether you’ve come across Kingfishers before or have never seen the blue streak as one darts past a riverside, photographing these colourful and elusive birds up close is a rewarding challenge, through my guidance and our position you’ll be in the best place to create amazing wildlife photographs of the Kingfishers perched, in flight and diving as the bird breaks the water in an explosion of droplets with a fish in the Kingfishers beak. Glencoe wedding photography TRAINING scotland - APRIL 29th -30th 2024
Amazing mountain backdrops and stunning waterfalls make Glencoe in the Scottish highlands a mecca for landscape photographers and a dream destination for elopements weddings. This will be our base for two days of wedding photogrpahy, creating epic and dramatic wedding photographs of our bride and groom models. There's also an opportunity to join me for landscape photography down time before and after our model sessions as I'll head off to photograph the stunning views and landscape. ALLERTON CASTLE LUXURY CASTLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP SEPTEMBER 9th 2024
One of the finest and most exclusive wedding venues in the UK, Allerton Castle near York and Harrogate in North Yorkshire is a grand and imposing wedding venue but can often require a more complex lighting set up or techniques. The wedding photography training course will cover how I work and create award winning photographs at this and similar venues with fast and easy set ups and techniques. The workshop is hands on all day and is followed up by a free webinar with recording access where I'll discuss the editing methods and demonstrate via zoom how I edit a number of the images we take on the day. Carlton Towers, yorkshire Wedding Photography workshoP Septemebr 10th 2024
Working with mixed lighting, creating indoor and outdoor exposures with flash and natural light. On this workshop I'll teach you how to find the light and manipulate the environment to create the stunning wedding photographs which will blow your clients away, create amazing double page album spreads and wall art. We'll spend the majority of the day photographing our couple inside and out this magnificent stately home located just off the M62 in East Yorkshire, close to York. This is also suited to those looking at portfolio building. Starting at 1830 and finishing around midnight including a champagne spray photography session, the historic city of York in North Yorkshire is the venue for our night time and twilight wedding photography training course. During the evening of wedding photography training, I'll be demonstrating and teaching how we create the stunning after dark evening photographs with just speedlights, regardless of the weather with fast and simple techniques that can be applied at any wedding venue. Ilse of skye landscape photography workshop october 14th-16th 2024
The Isle of Skye, rugged mountains, weather battered beaches, rolling hills, waterfalls, light houses, castles and stunning scenery, it's easy to understand why this island off the west coast of Scotland is so popular amongst landscape photographers. Having visited Skye many times I still find myself in awe at the scenery, locations and photographs you produce. Changeable conditions and variations in season means no two images are the same. Glencoe Landscape photography - October 17th -19th 2024
Join me in Glencoe and the surrounding Scottish Highlands in October for three days of Landscape photography training. (this is timed to follow on the back of the Skye landscape workshop above) During the workshop I’ll be teaching techniques including long exposure with the use of filters, (supplied), creating HDR images, Multi image panoramic, focus stacking, editing in Lightroom and Photoshop and weather permitting we’ll also be light painting and creating astro photographs of the dark sky location. lake district landscape photography workshop OCTOBER 21st - 23rd 2024
Three days in the stunning Lake District where we’ll spend our time photographing the amazing scenery including Mountains, lakes, waterfalls Jetties, and more. Our day usually starts just before sunrise to photograph our first location and can end a long time after dark as we photograph the sunset and then weather permitting we may create star photographs with a session of astrophotography or light painting. Four days in the amazing Paris photographing our models in a variety of locations creating amazing wedding and pre-wedding photographs with bucket list backdrops as we work around the city.
